Short description: The Project Picoballoon is an international project that enables students of all ages to collectively work and develop technologies and methods to research atmospheric behaviour and to learn how to cooperate in a large team. The research itself revolves around the development of ultralight stratospheric probes which can fly for long periods of time whilst collecting and transmitting data. During this 2 hour software workshop, you will get a taste of what are the electrical engineers in our team doing. You will learn how to find components, study datasheets, create schematic and draw printed circuit boards. In the end you should have your first PCB designed. We are looking forward to seeing you!
